We went out for dinner at Cafe Pascucci, a chain of Italian restaurants in Bangalore (and perhaps beyond) which boasts the best coffee in town – I can’t vouch for that unfortunately as I don’t like coffee!
We went for Asparagus soup as a starter and I chose asparagus spaghetti with a creamy sauce for my main. Whatever picture you have of creamy sauce with asparagus, please delete it from your mind’s eye – that’s not what appeared – the spaghetti arrived coated in grass-green sauce! The portion was very generous, so I didn’t manage to finish it, but Sellappan made a heroic effort with his chicken pasta.
We decided to forgo dessert in the spirit of fitting through the door when we got home!
